Job summary

CSL is seeking a Plasma Donor Collection Technician in the United States, Texas, McAllen. You will perform venipuncture to start pheresis, monitor the process, and ensure donor safety following SOPs.

Responsibilities include donor setup, monitoring, data recording, and maintaining a compliant, safe center environment. The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for 12 months in a medical setting and phlebotomy certification where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 12 months of experience in a medical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to initiate the pheresis process.
• Monitor pheresis procedure and donor status per SOPs.
• Set up donor, monitor, and disconnect donor according to SOPs.
• Evaluate donor vein performance and adjust as needed to optimize donation time.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Educate donors on the donation process and address questions professionally.
• Observe for donor reactions and respond or notify staff as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment alarms and document incidents.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to OSHA/HSE policies.
