Job summary

CSL is seeking a donor center associate to greet donors and guide them through registration and screening procedures at our plasma collection center. The role involves conducting health screenings, performing finger sticks, and ensuring donor questions are answered accurately.

After training, you may educate donors about therapeutic products from plasma, appointment systems, and center policies. You may assist with donor registration, answer calls, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history and basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening procedures (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger-stick hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma and center policies after training.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed; answer phones and direct callers to staff.
