Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to efficiently collect plasma from donors by performing venipuncture and monitoring the pheresis process in strict accordance with SOPs and FDA guidelines.

The role includes educating donors about the donation process, maintaining donor safety, recording data accurately, and adhering to HSE/OSHA policies in a fast-paced center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CSL Plasma Phlebotomy training completed (internal candidates).
• External candidates must have at least 6 months as a phlebotomist; 12 months in medical/healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedures and donor monitoring per SOPs.
• Conduct venipuncture to start pheresis, following FDA guidelines.
• Monitor donor status and respond to adverse events.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
