Job summary

Qualifications

• 12 months experience in a medical/health care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and monitor the pheresis process per SOPs.
• Set up donors, monitor during pheresis and disconnect after donation.
• Educate donors on the donation process and center policies as needed.
• Document incidents, alarms and donor events using the PDA.
• Maintain equipment and respond to alarms or donor issues per SOPs.
• Keep donor data accurate in the electronic donor information system.
