Job summary

CSL Plasma in Florida is seeking a donor center technician to conduct pheresis procedures. You will set up donors, monitor the process, and perform venipuncture to initiate donation, ensuring safety and efficiency. You will document donor data and follow SOPs and FDA guidelines throughout each procedure.

Responsibilities include monitoring donor flow, maintaining equipment, and assisting with donor questions while upholding safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• External candidates must have at least 6 months’ phlebotomy experience; 12 months in medical/healthcare preferred.
• CSL Plasma DST training required for internal applicants.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a medical or healthcare environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedure including donor setup, monitoring and disconnect.
• Perform venipuncture to begin pheresis, following SOPs and FDA guidelines.
• Monitor donor vein performance and expedite donation while ensuring safety.
• Document donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
