Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Plasma Collection Technician to perform venipuncture and guide the pheresis process through donor setup, monitoring, and disconnect. The role requires adhering to SOPs and FDA guidelines to ensure donor safety and product quality.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least 12 months in a medical or healthcare setting. Experience in California may require state phlebotomy certification or RN license depending on local requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum twelve (12) months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• For Centers located in CA, state-certified Phlebotomy Technician I or current RN licensed may be required.
• Qualifications may vary by local regulations; refer to local documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma from donors via venipuncture and perform pheresis per SOPs.
• Monitor pheresis process, donor setup, and donor disconnect.
• Record donor data and incidents in the PDAs and information systems.
• Ensure safety, cleanse work area, and maintain compliance with HSE/OSHA policies.
• Troubleshoot equipment, respond to alarms, and maintain supply levels.
