Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a plasmapheresis technician responsible for performing venipuncture and plasma collection, ensuring donor safety and high-quality product under FDA-approved SOPs.

You will manage setup, operation, alarms, documentation, and machine maintenance while delivering excellent donor service and adhering to safety protocols; this role requires flexibility for day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Documentation training completed prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP SOPs to maintain production standards.
• Maintain donor comfort, safety and confidentiality.
• Set up equipment and dispose of biohazard waste per safety rules.
• Monitor machine alarms and respond to alerts; document exceptions.
• Calibrate and perform routine maintenance on plasmapheresis machines.
• Maintain machine logs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Drive training efficiencies and participate in QA/QC activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
