Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Plasma Donor Center Technician in Grand Rapids, MI to perform plasmapheresis and venipuncture. You will ensure donor safety, maintain equipment, and uphold regulatory SOPs while delivering excellent donor experiences.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within a national plasma donation network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Three (3) months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
• Documentation of training completed prior to performing duties independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute plasmapheresis and venipuncture per SOPs.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and ensure safety and quality.
• Prepare equipment and supplies, label units, and monitor machine alarms.
• Operate automated plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms.
• Monitor donor conditions and ensure comfort and safety.
• Calibrate and maintain plasmapheresis machines daily/weekly/monthly.
• Maintain accurate logs and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Assist with training to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
