Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Donor Services Technician to efficiently collect plasma from donors in a compliant, safety-driven environment. You will perform venipuncture, monitor the pheresis process, set up donors, and document activities in the donor information management system.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 12 months in a medical or health care setting; California centers may require Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or RN licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a medical or health care environment preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to begin pheresis and monitor the pheresis process.
• Set up donors and monitor during donation and disconnect after collection.
• Evaluate vein performance and adjust to expedite donation and ensure donor safety and product quality.
• Educate donors on the donation process, screening, tests, fees, policies and health considerations.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system as SOPs require.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and availability of supplies; follow HSE and OSHA policies.
