Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center Technician I to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products while ensuring regulatory compliance. This role requires attention to safety, quality, and donor experience in a fast-paced center.

You will operate automated plasmapheresis equipment, monitor alarms, and perform routine QC on center equipment, with emphasis on adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards. Bilingual Spanish is preferred in some locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three months' experience in clerical or customer service preferred.
• State certification/licensing requirements may apply.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state, federal and industry regulations to maintain production standards and facility compliance.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and donor confidentiality.
• Monitor donor conditions and perform eligibility assessments to ensure safety and product quality.
• Set up, prepare, and operate automated plasmapheresis equipment; respond to alarms and disconnect donors when finished.
• Perform plasma collection and processing, including sterile products and sample handling, and prepare shipments per SOPs.
