Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. seeks a Donor Center Technician to join our team in Petersburg, VA. You will support plasma collection, ensure donor safety and comfort, and follow all SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Daily duties include equipment setup, monitoring, record keeping, and processing plasma products. The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work day/evening hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write English required.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.
• Able to read, understand regulations, instructions and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation complies with state and federal regulations and SOPs to maintain quality and cleanliness.
• Provide excellent donor service and maintain donor confidentiality.
• Set up plasmapheresis equipment, monitor donors, and respond to any adverse events.
• Perform product processing, sample handling, storage, and packaging per SOPs and regulations.
• Maintain complete records and assist with QC tasks and equipment alarms.
