Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Minnesota is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to ensure donor eligibility and safety while supporting plasma center operations. You will review test results, manage adverse events, and coordinate with physicians for medical guidance.

Requirements include active nursing licensure or EMT certification, CPR/AED, and at least two years in a clinical setting. The role includes a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits, at BioLife’s Waite Park center.

Qualifications

Must hold an active state license in nursing or applicable EMT license.
CPR and AED certification required.
FDA training completion for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsibilities

Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma and manage donor adverse events.
Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for emergencies.
Refer medical concerns to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
Support vaccination programs for employees and manage occupational health issues.
Follow EHS guidance for employee incidents and center operations.
