Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Camp Hill, PA, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations reporting to the Center Manager. The role requires RN/NP/PA licensure, CPR/AED certification, and clinical experience.

You will assess donor eligibility, manage donor safety, and assist in emergencies, while supporting vaccination programs and incident management. Two years in a clinical setting, state licensure, and FDA training are required; BioLife offers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent including nursing program.
• Currently licensed as RN, NP, or PA in the responsible state.
• CPR and AED certification must be current.
• Fulfill state IV therapy requirements.
• Complete BioLife Medical Support Specialist FDA training.
• Two years in a clinical/hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and testing.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for emergencies.
• Refer complex medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and incident management.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator as authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.
