Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations at the Camp Hill, PA location. You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, and manage donor safety under physician guidance.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license, CPR/AED certification, and at least two years of clinical experience, with additional responsibilities in donor safety and EHS programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN/LVN license in the applicable state.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Knowledge of donor eligibility assessment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including consent, AIDS education, confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, and review of SPE.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies and donor transport.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER and EHS as needed.
