Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) in Waterloo, IA, to determine donor eligibility and support plasma center operations. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician in a regulated environment.

Required: LPN/LVN license, CPR/AED, basic IV therapy, and two years in a clinical setting. A $5000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered. This is a part-time hourly role in USA - IA - Waterloo.

Qualifications

• Must hold state LPN/LVN license and CPR/AED certification.
• Familiar with IV therapy and lab result interpretation.
• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and self-exclusion.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Consult Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical issues and findings.
