Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Oklahoma City is seeking a Phlebotomist to screen donors and perform venipuncture to support plasma center operations. You will greet donors, operate plasmapheresis equipment, monitor during donations, and maintain donor records.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and high-quality donor care. Training will be provided in line with center procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on the plasmapheresis machines.
• Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.
• Support the center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement.
