Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Victorville, CA is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to greet donors, perform venipuncture, and program plasmapheresis equipment, ensuring donor safety and comfort throughout the donation process.

You will monitor donors, manage reactions, record vital signs and donor measures, enter data into the Donor Information System (DIS), and coordinate donor flow while maintaining a clean, efficient center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens; prolonged glove wear.
• 1+ year in customer-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors on entry/exit.
• Perform venipuncture and plasmapheresis machine programming.
• Monitor donors and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and dispose of materials properly.
• Record donor vitals and enter data into the DIS.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate via Debit Card.
• Support center improvements using 5S, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen.
