Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to greet donors, perform venipuncture, and operate plasmapheresis equipment. You will monitor donors, record vital signs, and ensure proper safety and data entry using the DIS system.

The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to stand for long periods, with work including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training will cover all plasmapheresis procedures and donor safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the full shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to bend, lean, stoop, crouch and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift up to 5 lbs, occasional up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment from a distance.
• Due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, 90% of tasks require glove wear.
• 1+ year experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and program plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors and manage reactions during donation.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor measures and enter data into the DIS system.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational improvements.
