Takeda, operating BioLife Plasma Services donation centers, is seeking a Phlebotomist to support plasma collection operations at the Deptford, NJ location. You will perform donor screening, venipuncture, plasmapheresis machine programming, and monitor donor safety throughout the donation process.

You will also handle setup and troubleshooting of equipment, record donor data, and assist with process improvements. Evening/weekend shifts are required in a fast-paced center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1) requires prolonged glove wear.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Setup, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment within training scope.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor measurements and enter data into the DIS.
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using Debit Card system.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement using company procedures (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen).
