Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Phlebotomist for BioLife Plasma Services in Methuen, MA. You will greet donors, perform venipuncture, operate plasmapheresis equipment, monitor donors, and ensure safety and accuracy throughout the donation process.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs with PPE, and working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer-facing experience is helpful for ensuring quality donor care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to walk/stand for the shift.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays work availability.
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally with PPE as needed.
• 1+ years in a customer- or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and program plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions.
• Set up, verify and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
• Record donor vitals and enter data into the DIS system.
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors via Debit Card.
• Support center management in process improvements and Kaizen activities.
