Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. in the United States is seeking a Phlebotomist to support plasma center operations by performing donor screening and phlebotomy, ensuring quality and donor safety.

You will work with the Plasma Center Manager, greet donors, operate plasmapheresis equipment, record donor measurements, and participate in ongoing process improvements to enhance efficiency and donor care.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting or interacting with customers or patients is helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly with donors and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Custody of donor information and privacy considerations are essential.

Responsabilités

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Setup, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment per training.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal of materials.
• Record donor measures (pulse, BP, temperature) and enter into the DIS.
• Enter donor information into Donor Information System (DIS).
• Coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors via Debit Card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational opportunities for improvement using 5S, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen.
