BioLife Plasma Services in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and help ensure donor safety while working under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, patient safety, and collaboration with Medical Affairs to handle medical issues and EHS considerations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent including graduate nursing program with state requirements.
• Currently licensed or certified as EMT-Paramedic in the responsible state.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Fulfill state IV therapy requirements where licensure applies.
• Complete FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• determine donor eligibility; manage informed consent, education, medical history, exams, testing and SPE review.
• evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and coordinate emergency care as needed.
• refer medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance.
• support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• manage employee incidents and coordinate EHS guidance.
