BioLife Plasma Services in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. The role involves determining donor eligibility and ensuring donor safety, while coordinating with the Center Physician on medical matters.

You will assist with adverse events review, laboratory result checks and employee health programs, under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician. A clinical background and state licensure are required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent with nursing program graduation and state requirements.
• Current licensure in the state of responsibility (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P, LPN/LVN or RN).
• CPR/AED certification and FDA training compliance.

Mansioni

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history and physical exam per SOPs.
• Evaluate donor reactions and coordinate with Center Physician for medical guidance.
• Support vaccination programs and manage occupational health/ER referrals.
• Reference EHS guidance for incident investigations and donor safety.
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and Medical Affairs.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and center operations guidance.

CPR & AED certification

Licensed EMT/Paramedic/RN/LPN

Clinical/hospital experience

IV therapy readiness
