Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks an operations leader for a plasma collection facility in Flint, MI. You will report to the District Manager and oversee production areas, managing financial, marketing, administrative, regulatory, quality, personnel and facilities tasks.

You will use data to monitor metrics, hire and train staff, drive donor retention and cost control, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage audits and production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in a medical or other regulated field or equivalent education/experience.
• CPR and AED certifications required.
• Must be mobile for entire work shift and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations within the facility and use data to monitor metrics.
• Oversee employee hiring, training and develop employee talent.
• Provide leadership to ensure donor retention, high customer service levels, production monitoring and cost data.
• Comply with all regulations related to quality, safety for product, employees and donors.
• Manage facility audit processes and resolve issues from audits.
• Forecast and attain production and cost goals while ensuring compliance.
• Manage bloodborne pathogen protocols.
