Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a dedicated operations leader to manage a plasma donation facility in Flint, MI. You will report to the District Manager and oversee the production areas, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while driving donor retention and cost efficiency.

This role requires ensuring audit readiness, leading staff development, and using data to monitor performance metrics in a fast-paced environment. Weekend work and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a medical or other regulated field.
• Willingness to work weekends/extended periods; occasional travel.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Must be mobile for entire shift; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations within the facility and monitor metrics using data.
• Oversee hiring, training and developing employee talent.
• Provide leadership to ensure donor retention, customer service, production monitoring, and cost data.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations related to quality, safety for employees and donors.
• Manage facility audit processes and resolve issues arising from audits.
• Forecast and attain production and cost goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage bloodborne pathogens protocols.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years' experience in medical or regulated field

CPR and AED certification

Mobility for full shift; ability to lift up to 50 lbs
