Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a General Manager for a Plasma Collection Center in the United States. You will oversee all center operations, ensure compliance with FDA SOPs, and drive production and quality KPIs while managing budgets and staff.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, donor relations, staff development, and regional mentorship. This role requires leadership in a CGMP-regulated environment and travel to multiple site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science, Business, Nursing, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in clinical or general business.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment preferred.
• Ability to understand, assess and communicate FDA regulations.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and staffing levels.
• Ability to relocate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the general manager for a Plasma Collection Center with overall responsibility for center operations.
• Manage daily operations, supervision, quality control, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
• Meet quarterly goals, staffing and labor-efficiency standards, cost-per-liter targets, and quality KPIs.
• Create an organizational environment that stimulates workforce morale and productivity.
• Monitor and evaluate operations; develop and implement process improvements.
• Direct hiring, work assignments, development, training, discipline, termination, and personnel records.
• Provide strategic direction and planning.
• Oversee donor selection, plasma collection, shipment, and records through the Assistant Manager.
• Maintain donor rapport and support long‑term donation and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare annual budgets with Divisional/Corporate management and achieve production and quality goals within cost structure.
• Control center donor funds and maintain accurate financial records.
• Identify regulatory deficiencies and implement corrective action with the Center Quality Manager.
• Conduct risk management reviews and investigate unsafe situations and complaints.
• Perform center production tasks when needed.
• Assume regional management oversight and mentoring duties for select facilities/projects.
