Job summary

You will supervise donor selection and plasma collection, manage records, train staff, and work with the Center Manager to keep the facility clean and equipment functional.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certified as Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor and Designated Trainer.
• Typically requires 4 years of related experience performing phlebotomy, donor processing and plasma processing with demonstrated proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ability to perform tasks within the plasma center and supervise donor flow.
• Learn and comply with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and SOPs.
• Supervise donor selection, plasma collection and related records to meet production standards.
• Attend required training and staff meetings.
• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of records.
• Assist Center Manager/Assistant Manager to keep facility neat, clean and equipment functional.
• Submit timely reports as required.
• Assist in donor funds control as directed.
• Assist in training new employees and retraining current staff.
• Maintain communication with service areas to ensure quality.
• Build rapport with donors to support long-term donation satisfaction.
• Report unsafe conditions to area lead or manager.
• May be trained to repair plasma center equipment.
• Assist in tasks necessary to pursue company objectives.
