Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in USA - IN - Indianapolis is hiring a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse). You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under Center Manager guidance and Center Physician oversight.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed or certified: RN, NP, or PA in the state of employment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Ability to fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, and acceptance requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unresolved medical/technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage occupational health incidents with EHS guidance.
