Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Indianapolis seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support center operations, screen donors for eligibility, and ensure safety and quality throughout the donation process.

The role requires state licensure as LPN/LVN, CPR/AED certification, and FDA training. You will work under Center Manager oversight to maintain compliance and donor care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Determine donor eligibility through informed consent, medical history, and screening.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies following SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate unsuitable results.
• Support vaccination programs for employees where applicable.
• Maintain compliance with EHS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility via informed consent, medical history, and examination.
• Evaluate donor reactions and arrange emergency care per SOPs.
• Refer to physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues.
