Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Basic IV therapy knowledge required.
• FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility with informed consent, history, and testing requirements.
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOP, manage adverse events.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies and transport to care facilities.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for abnormal findings or guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for staff.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized and assist investigations.
