BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations in Camp Hill, PA. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable tests, under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

The role requires nursing credentials (LPN/LVN), CPR/AED certification, and at least two years of clinical experience.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent including a nursing education program with state requirements.
• Current LPN or LVN license in the state where duties will be assigned.
• CPR and AED certification currently valid.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination and review of SPE.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs, including center physician orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable and manage related health activities.
