Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, part of Takeda, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support Plasma Center operations in Greensboro, NC. You will determine donor eligibility, respond to adverse events, review lab results, and coordinate with the Center Physician for medical guidance.

This is a part-time role with a strong emphasis on donor safety and compliance. Requires LPN/LVN license, CPR/AED certification, and two years in a clinical setting; training and vaccinations

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state license as LPN/LVN.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Education includes basic nursing program and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and screening.
• Manage donor adverse events according to SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Provide center level support for EHS guidance and medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health processes.
• Assist in donor safety and follow center physician guidance.
