BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) in Vista, CA to support center operations, determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable findings.

You will report to the Center Manager and work under Center Physician guidance within regulatory SOPs, with a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Must be licensed as RN, NP, or PA in the state of responsibility.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• FDA training completion for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting (2+ years).
• Understanding of donor screening, laboratory result review, and adverse event management.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Assess donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex medical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support employee vaccination programs and EHS guidance.
• Contribute to investigations and pandemic readiness when authorized.
