Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist in Orlando, FL to support plasma center operations and donor care.

You will determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable results under physician guidance and EHS policies. A nursing license and CPR/AED are required, with FDA training and two years clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and state nursing qualification.
• Currently licensed/certified in state of responsibilities (EMT/B-A-I-P, LPN/LVN, RN).
• CPR and AED certification, FDA training completion.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs.
• Assist with occupational health safety incidents and EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator if authorized.
