Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Orlando, FL is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable findings. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, ensuring compliance with plasma collection regulations and EHS guidance.

The role requires EMT/RN/LPN licensure or certification, CPR/AED, and relevant clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified in the responsible state (RN/LPN/EMT).
• Current CPR and AED certification required.
• Ethical conduct, patient-focused, and compliance with SOPs.
• Experience in donor health assessment or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility using informed consent and screening.
• Manage donor adverse events and safety protocols per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate unsuitable findings.
• Coordinate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support vaccination programs and incident reporting per EHS policies.
