BioLife Plasma Services in Eau Claire, WI seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review test results, and notify donors of unsuitable outcomes under supervision of Center leadership.

Role requires EMT-Paramedic licensure, CPR/AED, basic IV therapy readiness, and at least two years in a clinical setting. BioLife offers comprehensive benefits and a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed or certified EMT-Paramedic in the state of responsibilities.
• CPR and AED certification currently active.
• State requirements for basic IV therapy must be fulfilled.
• FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist completed.
• Minimum of two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate unsuitable results to donors.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Assist with environmental, health and safety guidelines and incident reporting.
