Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support daily plasma collection operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review medical histories, perform physicals, and respond to donor adverse events under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

The role requires current LPN licensure in PA, CPR/AED, and at least two years in a clinical setting; IV therapy competence preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of responsibilities.
• CPR and AED certification up to date.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and history.
• Manage donor adverse events and physical assessments.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Support vaccination programs for staff as applicable.
• Assist center physician under SOPs for medical emergencies.
