Job summary

Takeda is seeking a part-time Plasma Donor Screener/Phlebotomist in Saint Louis, MO. You will greet donors, perform donor screening, and collect vital signs, using the Donor Information System to maintain records and coordinate compensation.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and contribute to center operations while ensuring donor safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with occasional heavier lifting.
• Glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs.
• Use Donor Information System and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities and improve center processes.
• Work varied shifts including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
