Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking a Planting Crew member to install trees and plants for customers. You will plant according to landscape plans, ensure proper spacing, and keep work areas clean and organized.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and outdoor work in various weather conditions. Training is provided, and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform manual labor.
• Previous landscaping/horticulture experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Plant trees, shrubs, and other plants according to landscape plans and specifications.
• Ensure proper fertilization and planting techniques for healthy growth.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading plants, tools, and materials.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety guidelines on site.
• Be aware of Blue Stake/811 colors to prevent underground utility damage.
