Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking an entry-level Planting Crew member to install trees and plants at our Irvine location. You will join a team that focuses on accurate placement, spacing, and alignment per specifications, contributing to exceptional service for customers.

This full-time in-person role requires open daytime availability, ability to handle outdoor conditions, and adherence to safety practices. Training will be provided; prior landscaping experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Landscaping or horticulture experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with power tools and hand tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plant trees, shrubs, and other plants according to landscape plans and specifications.
• Ensure proper fertilization and planting techniques for healthy growth.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
• Assist with loading/unloading plants and equipment, ensuring correct counts and weight distribution.
• Follow PPE and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
