Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries is hiring for a Planting Crew member to install trees and plants at customer sites, following landscape plans and spacing requirements. You will work closely with a team to deliver high-quality installations while maintaining clean, organized work areas and equipment.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading plants, applying correct planting techniques, and complying with safety protocols, including PPE and Blue Stake/811 awareness.

Qualifications

• Labor experience in landscaping or horticulture preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and specific instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plant trees, shrubs, and other plants according to landscape plans and specifications.
• Ensure proper fertilization and planting techniques for healthy growth.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading plants, tools, and equipment; ensure accurate counts and proper weight distribution.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety guidelines; follow Blue Stake/811 procedures.
