Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company is seeking a Plant Trainer to support onboarding and ongoing technical training for shop-floor staff. You will develop materials, deliver hands-on coaching, and track certifications to ensure skill advancement and consistent work quality.

You will collaborate with HR, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Safety to align training with current equipment, processes, and standards, while promoting a safe and effective learning environment.

Qualifications

Two to five years in a manufacturing, production, maintenance, or industrial setting with mentoring or training experience.
Strong ability to facilitate learning in classroom and shop-floor environments.
Clear, professional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to observe performance, identify gaps, and provide coaching.

Responsibilities

Conduct onboarding and ongoing training for plant employees.
Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and job aids.
Assess proficiency, document certifications, and track development.
Maintain skills matrices and training plans with leadership.
Coach learners hands-on to improve proficiency and independence.
Maintain training records and report metrics.
Collaborate with HR, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and plant leadership.
Support training in the Shop Floor Training Center and prepare materials.
Deliver content using effective adult-learning practices.
Participate in trainer meetings and facilitator development activities.
