Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance team.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and ensure equipment reliability while following safety and quality procedures. The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, knowledge of LEAN practices, and the ability to work from schematics with a strong emphasis on documentation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of mechanical maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication tools and equipment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics and use a digital multimeter (DMM).
• Understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles including 5S.
• Must maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and risk mitigation in maintenance.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; may require overtime.
• Good verbal communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on major plant equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power-transmission systems.
• Complete breakdown repairs, changeovers, and benchwork such as rebuilds and inspections.
• Work from manuals, specifications, shop drawings, and schematics.
• Conduct seasonal maintenance and after-hours tasks as required.
• Follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and keep area clean and organized.
• Train and support junior mechanics; communicate with maintenance and production teams.
• Apply LEAN principles and 5S; maintain maintenance records and after-action reports.
• Replenish parts and tools; assist with facility upkeep including painting and minor repairs.
• Snow removal tasks and other utilities as needed.
