Job summary

The Plant Trainer at Baltimore Aircoil Company leads onboarding and ongoing technical training for plant employees, partnering with HR and plant leadership to transfer shop-floor knowledge, promote safety, quality, and productivity, and serve as a SME and coach.

You will develop training materials, assess skills, maintain records, and deliver content using adult-learning principles across shifts, supporting continuous improvement and knowledge capture within BAC's training program.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Previous mentoring, coaching, training, or leading others is strongly preferred.
• Strong ability to facilitate learning in classroom and shop-floor settings.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new hires and provide ongoing technical training to plant employees.
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and hands-on learning activities.
• Assess proficiency, identify skill gaps, and document certifications and development.
• Maintain training records and report on status, metrics, and competencies.
• Collaborate with HR, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and plant leadership to align training with standards and processes.
