Job summary

CANPACK Group is seeking a Training & Development professional to coordinate plant-wide training, manage the Skills Management system, and ensure consistent execution of training standards to support operational excellence.

The role involves recruiting mentors, planning activities, coordinating assessments, and reporting progress to stakeholders while collaborating with corporate training to implement global solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree in Education, Manufacturing, Adult Learning, Learning & Development, Organizational Development or related fields.
• Health & Safety (Occupational Safety Training).
• Train the trainer training.
• Training in On-the-Job Training methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Act as a local administrator and key user of the Skills Management IT system, ensuring data accuracy across all plant functions.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop local mentors and verify mentoring activities.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate training activities to support KPIs with departments, covering on-the-job and classroom training.
• Organize and supervise employee skills assessment and validate proficiency levels.
• Monitor training plan execution, prepare reports, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Promote training initiatives through internal channels to raise visibility of capability building.
• Coordinate and deliver induction program and learning plans for employees.
• Maintain training documentation and compliance materials.
• Collaborate with Group/Corporate Training Team and implement global solutions at plant level.
• Travel up to 10% to support other sites.
