Job summary

JCB, Inc. in Savannah, GA, seeks a Training Manager to design and manage the plant-wide training strategy, ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence. You will partner with plant leadership, HR, and engineering to identify capability gaps and deliver effective programs that scale across shifts.

This hands-on leadership role requires designing,Facilitating, coaching leaders and trainers, and driving continuous improvement through structured training delivery and measurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• Three to five years of experience in training, learning and development, OD, or workforce development.
• At least two years of experience supporting manufacturing or related operational environments.
• Experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating employee training programs.
• Experience partnering with operational leaders to identify skill gaps and implement training solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps and training-related technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a plant training strategy aligned with production priorities and workforce needs.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify training gaps and practical learning solutions.
• Create annual and ongoing training plans for production, onboarding, and leadership development.
• Provide guidance on training priorities, resources, and workforce capability risk.
• Ensure training programs are scalable and consistent across shifts.
• Oversee plant-wide training initiatives and workforce development programs.
