Job summary

JCB North America Headquarters in Pooler, GA, seeks an EHS Manager to lead environmental health and safety programs ensuring OSHA compliance and a zero-injury culture. This onsite, full-time role requires a bachelor's in environmental or safety fields and 5-7+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing environments.

The position oversees training, inspections, audits, and emergency response, collaborates with all departments, and drives continuous safety improvements across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Safety related field or equivalent.
• 5-7+ years EHS related experience in general industry manufacturing environments with direct exposure to environmental and/or health and safety field.
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OSHA and JCB health and safety program requirements are met.
• Lead specific safety programs, training, and implementation.
• Drive continuous improvements in safety systems and employee engagement to reduce hazards.
• Collaborate with employees to identify and implement hazard-reducing improvements.
• Conduct EHS inspections and audits, generate reports and communicate findings.
• Provide day-to-day technical safety and health advice to employees and contractors.
• Work with management to sustain a healthy safety culture.
• Manage development and delivery of EHS training for all employees.
