Job summary

JCB North America in Pooler, GA is hiring a Training Manager for its Savannah manufacturing operations. The role develops and runs the plant training strategy with plant leadership, HR, EHS, quality, engineering and operations.

You will build onboarding and qualification programs, skills matrices and cross-training for manufacturing employees, design and deliver instructor-led, virtual and on-the-job training, keep records audit-ready and measure program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years in training or workforce development with at least 2 years in manufacturing.
• Ability to work a Fri-Sun 6am–6pm schedule; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and run the plant training strategy with plant leadership, HR, EHS, quality, engineering and operations.
• Build onboarding and qualification programs, skills matrices and cross-training for manufacturing employees.
• Personally design and deliver instructor-led, virtual and on-the-job training; keep training and certification records audit-ready.

The manager develops and runs the plant training strategy with plant leadership, HR, EHS, quality, engineering and operations, builds structured onboarding and qualification programs, skills matrices and cross-training for manufacturing employees, develops trainers and on-the-job trainers, personally designs and delivers instructor-led, virtual and on-the-job training, keeps training and certification records audit-ready, and measures program effectiveness.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in HR, organizational development, education, business, operations management, industrial technology or a related field, three to five years in training or workforce development with at least two years supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment, and flexibility to work a schedule that includes Friday to Sunday 6am–6pm; English–Spanish bilingual fluency is preferred.
