Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a Training Manager based at our West Jordan, Utah site. You will lead development and delivery of the site’s training and capability-building programs, partnering with Operations, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, and HR to ensure employees possess the knowledge and certifications to perform safely and efficiently.

You will develop onboarding, identify skill gaps, manage training records, and drive continuous improvement of LMS and validation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, education, business administration, industrial technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in training, learning and development, talent development, or manufacturing operations.
• 3+ years in leadership roles managing training programs, teams, or workforce development initiatives.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (food, CPD, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the site training strategy to support operational excellence and business objectives.
• Lead onboarding and orientation programs for new hires and ensure timely completion of training.
• Partner with department leaders to identify skill gaps and create development plans.
• Manage training matrices, qualification records, and compliance documentation for audits.
• Oversee LMS implementation and training tracking processes.
• Collaborate with Quality, Food Safety, EH&S, and Operations to meet compliance training requirements.
• Develop and facilitate leadership, technical, and functional training programs.
• Lead development and maintenance of training facilities.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments and metrics.
• Coach frontline leaders in standardized work instructions and on-the-job training.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to build organizational capability.
