Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a Maintenance Leader at its West Jordan, Utah yogurt manufacturing plant. The role leads equipment maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability improvements for the line.

You will ensure timely work orders, plan execution, and safety adherence in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has strong maintenance planning, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and leadership abilities, plus experience with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ,
• A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated technical aptitude and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize work orders and notifications within 24 hours.
• Ensure the work order backlog is current and report-ready.
• Lead daily review of maintenance plans and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate planned stops and align tasks with the plan.
• Lead weekly maintenance scheduling and monthly planning.
• Drive startup/shutdown optimization with Line Leader/Process Engineer.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and drawings.
• Create One‑Point Lessons and train line teams on maintenance.
• Develop and update annual maintenance plan and calendar.
• Track KPI data and drive MP&S improvements.
• Share results with department leadership monthly.
• Monitor PM, DMS health and initiate corrective actions.
• Develop improvement plans from maintenance metrics.
• Approve design changes via CM procedures.
• Collaborate with storeroom on parts management.
• Provide feedback on new equipment or line speed changes.
• Support PM pillar team and IWS initiatives.
• Contribute to SQCDMN goals through team effort.
• Uphold safety standards (WISE) in daily work.
